Detailed description

The Allyès is a leather dog leash worn over the shoulder.

Whether you're out for a walk in the woods or in town, the Allyès will quickly become your best ally, with its multiple adjustment options to suit every situation.

The Allyès is a uniquely styled, elegant and timeless leash in monochrome leather with white stitching for unlimited French luxury, and sturdy, gleaming metal buckles for more comfortable and serene outings with your dog than ever before.

This leather leash is designed to be worn as a shoulder strap. With a 140cm (55inch) circumference, it adapts to all seasons and different coat and scarf overlays, but also to all morphologies: from the largest and strongest silhouettes to the smallest and most slender.

The Allyès can also be used as a classic, short leash, attached as close as possible to the carabiner, ideal for city flaneries.

Closed at the shortest point, it creates a handle, transforming the Allyès into a long version of the Baroudeuse leash. In turn, it enables you to tie up your dog quickly and securely, anywhere! In front of the bakery, at the restaurant, on the strap of a hiking pack, etc.

Maison Selyès offers two versions of the leash, to suit your daily life and your dog's character:

Short version

The short version has a 140cm (55inch) shoulder strap and a 75cm (29,5inch) leash (not including the carabiner), giving you plenty of leeway when your dog is on foot. This is useful in town or for crossings, without having to pick up your dog and put involuntary tension on the leash.

Available leash lengths are: 110cm - 145cm - 190cm ( or in inches : 43 - 57 - 75 ).

Long version

The long version features a 140cm (55inch) shoulder strap and a 105cm (80,7inch) leash (excluding the carabiner), giving you plenty of leeway with your dog in front of you. This is useful in the city or on public transport, but also in rural areas where a leash is compulsory: the Allyès allows you to enjoy a serene walk with your hands in your pockets, while providing your dog with a comfortable space.

Available leash lengths are: 125cm - 175cm - 220cm ( or in inches : 49 - 69 - 86,5 ).

NB: the carabiners measure approx. 6cm (2,4inch), adding approximatively 5cm (2inch) to the length of the leash.

Upkeep advices

This product is made from vegetable-tanned leather with sturdy buckles.

To clean your products, use glycerine soap, then once dry, nourish it with colorless leather grease.

If your product comes into contact with water: wet it thoroughly, clean it with glycerine soap, dry the curls well and once the soap has been absorbed, nourish the leather with colorless leather grease.

The secret is in the drying: simply leave the leash in a well-ventilated room, your product will be as good as new, with the patina of adventure !

Leather & Comfort

This leather dog leash is available in single version or lined in the handle by a leather-covered fleece , both vegetable-tanned. The unlined leather is worked to be ultra soft in the hand, ensuring comfort for even the most sensitive skin. As for the lining, it provides greater hold and rigidity, while bringing extra softness to the hand.

Whatever your choice, Selyès guarantees maximum comfort, softness of the material so as not to damage your hands, but also the assurance that this natural material will never create allergic reactions on your skin.

Leather is known to be a material combining comfort and resistance, which is why Maison Selyès applies itself to sublimating this material by saddle-stitching it, to increase its solidity and life span.

Vegetable-tanned leather in aniline finish offers wonderful colors that will patina over time and according to the adventures you and your dog will experience: the leash will evolve with your duo, marked by your adventures without ever failing to follow you.
