This leather dog ID collar will be tailor-made to be tailored specifically to your dog, your desires and your everyday life.

The Sauveur is a collar on which your dog's information is indelibly laser-engraved: a real identity card around his neck, which doesn't dangle like a medal and can therefore be worn in all circumstances, whether at home, on walks, hikes, trips, etc.

With its ring, the Savior can also become a medal holder and so you can add a second identification, such as your dog-sitter's number.

Identification

You can engrave different informations : from the most basic like his name and/or your phone number to the more specific like his chip number or any chronic illness or intolerances he might have.

This information could save your dog's life if he goes further than expected on a walk, ends up getting lost and is found injured by a stranger who drops him off at a vet who doesn't have his medical records. The vet will know what medication your dog is likely to be taking if he's epileptic, for example, and what treatment to avoid if he's intolerant or allergic to certain anaesthetics.

Leather & Safety

Leather is an ultra-resistant material, but this collar is not.

Why?

Because Maison Selyès masters the trade of saddler harness maker and places not one but two breaking points: this implies that should your dog get stuck with his ID collar somewhere, whether in thick thickets or in the teeth of a dog stronger than him, the collar is made to give way and release your companion.

It will take some force to cut it off, but panic movements will suffice, like when a horse pull back ( backwards vehemently ) destroying his halter ( calculatedly by the skilled leather craftsman ) and managing to save himself without having hurt himself.

Measurement

To give your dog's neck size, make sure this measurement allows the collar to pass through its ears. If your dog has a neck size of 40cm for a classic collar, but the ear passage measures 42cm, you'll need to ask for a size 42cm. The workshop adds no extra margin. Please note that leather has a little stretch and can therefore be stretched a little, facilitating its passage.
